Discovering the Title Sentences

I was with some friends that kept reminding me that the genealogies that are present in the Bible often form important sentences that add to the meaning of Scripture. This group did not realize I was working on the Book Order project, and had no idea how this might matter to my work. They were persistent, though, and I eventually realized I should attempt to apply the same principle to the names of the books of the Bible.

The question was simply this: Would the book names, when translated to English, form meaningful sentences too?

The answer is a resounding YES. The names of the books, when translated into English, do form sentences.

There are 12 such sentences, really Title Sentences, formed when the 66 book names are translated into English.

Curiously, those 12 sentances each contain the divine name. They summarize various aspects of the common Christian walk. They also seem to reflect different personalities common to the patriarchs and the apostles.

It is also curious that none of the known printed book orders can form such sentences since the common book series include the First-John, Second-John and Third-John series which causes the overall sentence structure to stammer. That the sentences formed by this book order are coherent is yet another proof that this is the correct, inspired, book order.

The table at the right of this page contains the translated names. Each original book name is underscored. Other minimal glue words have been added as needed by English grammar.
