Name

13 Isaiah 65:1
65 1I am sought by those who did not ask for me; I am found by those who did not seek; I said, Here I am, here I am, to a nation that has never called my name.

65 Third John :5-7
5Our beloved, you do faithfully what you do to the brothers, especially to those who are strangers,
6who have borne witness concerning your love before the whole church for the good things which you have done for them by supplying their needs, as is pleasing to God,
7because they have gone forth for his name's sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles.

Not Received

13 Isaiah 65:2-5
2I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts,
3a people who provoke me to anger continually, who sacrifice in the gardens and burn incense on altars of bricks;
4who sit in tombs and lodge in caves, who eat swine's flesh and pollute their vessels with unclean carcasses; to break the law and to defile the holy contract, that they may provoke Yahvah.
5Who say, Keep away, do not come near me; for I am sanctified. These men are a smoke in my anger, a fire that burns all the day.

65 Third John :9
9I wrote to the church that Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, would not receive us.

Recompense

13 Isaiah 65:6-7
6Look, it is written before me: I will not keep silent until I repay them a double portion into their embrace.
7Their sins and the sins of their fathers are well known, says Yahvah, for they have burned incense on the mountains and disgraced me on the hills; therefore I will measure their former works into their embrace.

65 Third John :10
10Therefore if I come I will mention the things which he did, gossiping against us with malicious words; and not content with this he not only did not receive the brothers, but also forbid those who would like to receive them, and cast them out of the church.

Good and Evil

13 Isaiah 65:8-12
8Yahvah says, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says to another, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it; so I will do for my servant's sake, and I will not destroy them all.
9And I will bring forth an offspring out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; my elect will inherit it and my servants will live there.
10And Sharon will be a fold for flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in for my people who have sought me.
11But as for you who have forsaken Yahvah and have forgotten his holy mountain, who prepare tables for fortune tellers and have poured out wine into bowls for them,
12I will deliver you up to the sword, and all of you will bow down to the slaughter, because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen; and you did evil in my presence, and chose the thing in which I do not delight.

65 Third John :11
11Our beloved, do not follow what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God; but he who does evil has not seen God.

A New Name

13 Isaiah 65:13-16
13Therefore Master Yahvah says, Look, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; look, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty; look, my servants will rejoice, but you will weep;
14look my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will complain for sorrow of heart and for vexation of spirit.
15And you will leave your name for a curse to my chosen ones; for Master Yahvah will slay you, and call his servants by another name;
16so that he who blesses himself in the land will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the land will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my presence.

65 Third John :12
12Demetrius has been given a good report by all men and of the church, and of the truth itself; yes, we also testify for him, and we know that our testimony is true.

Face to Face

13 Isaiah 65:17-25
17For look, I create new skies and a new land; and the former things will not be remembered nor come into mind.
18But my people will be glad and rejoice forever because I am creating; for look, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and I will rejoice in it.
19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and the voice of weeping will not be heard in her any longer, nor the voice of wailing any longer.
20In her there will not be a child who dies in infancy any longer, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child will die 100 years old; but a sinner being 100 years old will be accursed.
21They will build houses and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22They will not build and others inhabit; they will not plant and others eat; for like the days of trees are the days of my people, and my chosen ones will eat the work of their hands.
23They will not labor in vain nor bring forth children for a curse; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahvah, both they and their children with them.
24And it will come to pass that before they call I will answer them; and before they speak I will hear them.
25The wolf and the lamb will feed together and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpents' food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain says Yahvah.

65 Third John :13-14
13I had many things to write, but I do not want to write them to you with pen and ink;
14however, I trust I will shortly see you, and we will speak face to face.
