Isaiah 50 First Corinthians

The following is a start at a map between Isaiah 50 and the book of First Corinthians.

Divorce

13 Isaiah 50:1
50 1Yahvah says, Where is the bill of divorce of your mother, whom I have put away? Or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Look, for your iniquities you were sold, and for your transgressions your mother is put away.

50 First Corinthians 5:1-2
1It is reported that immorality is common among you, and such immorality as is not known among pagans, that even a son should take his father's wife.
2But instead of boasting as you have done, rather, had you sat down mourning that he who has done this deed, might have been removed from among you.

13 Isaiah 50:2-11
2Why, when I came, was there no man? When I called was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot save? Or have I no power to deliver? Look, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; their fish stink because there is no water, and they die of thirst.
3I clothe the skies with darkness and make sackcloth their covering.

4Master Yahvah has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak and declare a word to the weary; he wakens me in the morning; in the morning he causes my ears to hear the teaching.

5Master Yahvah has opened my ears, and I have not turned back to the evil way, nor have I been rebellious.
6I gave my back to the strikers and my cheeks to those who slap on the face; I did not turn my face from shame and spitting.

7For Master Yahvah has helped me; therefore I am not confounded; therefore I have hardened my face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.
8For he who justifies me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand together. Who is lord of accusation? Let him come near to me.
9Look, Master Yahvah will help me; who is he that will condemn me? Look, they will all wear out as a garment; the moth will eat them up.

10Who is among you who reveres Yahvah? Let him listen to the voice of his servant. He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in the name of Yahvah and be saved by his God.
11Look, all of you are like kindling wood and the sparks of the kindling. Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks that you have kindled. This you will have of my hands: you will lie down in sorrow.
