13 Isaiah 23:1-14
23 1The prophecy concerning the fall of Tyre. Howl, ships of Tarshish, for he who brings merchandise is plundered; from the land of China the news has been revealed to us.
2Be still, inhabitants of the islands, the merchants of Zidon that passed over the sea.
3Your commerce is on many waters, offspring of merchants; the harvest of the river is her revenue, and she is a mart of nations.
4Be ashamed, Zidon; for the sea has spoken, even the strength of the sea saying, I have not been in travail nor have I given birth to children, nor have I reared young men nor have I brought up virgins.
5When the news reaches Egypt, they will be in pain over the report of Tyre.
6Pass over to Tarshish; howl, inhabitants of the islands.
7Is this your mighty city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? Her own feet will carry her far away to reside temporarily.
8Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are the honorable of the land?
9Yahvah of hosts has purposed it, to bring to an end the glory of every mighty man and to bring into dishonor all the honorable men of the land.
10Pass through your land like a river, daughter of Tarshish; there is no one to drive you away.
11He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms; Yahvah has given a commandment against Canaan to destroy its mighty men.
12And he said, You will not become mighty any longer, oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon; arise, pass over to China; there you will also have no rest.

13Look the land of the Chaldeans; this is the people, and not the Assyrians, who destroyed it; they appointed spies who spied on her houses, and they brought it to ruin.

14Howl, ships of Tarshish; for your stronghold is plundered.

13 Isaiah 23:15-17
15And it will come to pass, in that day, that Tyre will be forgotten for 70 years, according to the days of 1 king; after the end of 70 years, they will sing to Tyre a prostitute's song.
16Take a harp, go about the city, prostitute that has been forgotten; play sweet melodies, sing many songs, that you may be remembered.

17And it will come to pass at the end of 70 years that Yahvah will visit Tyre, and she will turn to her traffic and commit fornications with all the kingdoms that are on the face of the land.

23 Hosea 3:2-3
2So I bought her for myself for 15 pieces of silver and a homer and 1/2 of barley;
3and I said to her, You will live as my wife for many days; you will not play the prostitute, and you will not be for other men; so I will be for you also.

13 Isaiah 23:18
18And her merchandise and her hire will be sanctified to Yahvah; it will not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise will be for those who live before Yahvah, to eat abundantly, and replace their old garments with new ones.
