This is a map between Isaiah 11 and Second Kings. The key match is Remnant.
13 Isaiah 10:5-34
5Ho, Assyrian. The rod of my anger, and the staff in their hand is my indignation.
6I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against a wrathful people I will give him a charge, to take captives and to take spoil and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7But he does not look so, nor does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and annihilate not a few nations.
8For he says, Are my princes not altogether kings?
9Is Calno not like Carchemish? Is Hamath not like Arpad? Is Samaria not like Damascus?
10As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images excelled those of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11and as I have done to Samaria and her idols, so I will do to Jerusalem and her idols.
12Therefore it will come to pass, when Master has performed his whole work on mount Zion, and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his pride.
13For he has said, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent, and I have removed the boundaries of the nations, and I have plundered their wealth, and subjugated the inhabited cities;
14and my hand has found like a nest the riches of the peoples; and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken, I have gathered all the land; and there was no one who moved a wing nor opened the mouth nor chirped.
15Will the ax boast itself over him who hews with it? Or will the saw magnify itself over him who saws with it? Or will a rod exalt itself over him who lifts it up?
16Therefore Yahvah, Sovereign of hosts, will send destruction on his rich ones; and instead of his glory, he will kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17And the light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in 1 day;
18and it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful fields, both soul and body will perish; and they will be as if they never had been.
19And the rest of the trees of his forest will be so few, that a child may write them down.
20And it will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel, and those who have escaped from the house of Jacob, will not trust any longer in him who struck them; but they will trust in Yahvah, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21The remnant will return, even the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.
22For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them will return; their number decreased, cut off, but flooded with righteousness.
23For Yahvah, Master of hosts, will bring destruction and make decrees throughout all the land.
24Therefore Yahvah, Master of hosts says: My people that live in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian, who will strike you with his rod, and will lift up his staff against you after the manner of Egypt.
25For yet a very little while, and my indignation will be accomplished, and my anger because of their destruction.
26And Yahvah of hosts will stir up a scourge against them, according to the slaughter of Midian at mount Horeb; and as his staff was on the sea, so he will lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27And it will come to pass in that day, that his burden will be taken away from off your shoulder and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed from your neck because of your strength.
28He has come to Anath, he has passed Megiddo; at Michmash he has laid up his supplies;
29they have gone over the passage of Gibeah to House of Bethan; Ramath is afraid; Gibeah of Saul has fled.
30Lift up your voice, daughter of Gallim; give ear, Laish; answer me, Anathoth.
31Marmanah has been removed; the inhabitants of Gobin are resisting.
32As yet, he will remain at Nob that day; he will shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion and against the hill of Jerusalem.
33Look, Yahvah, Sovereign of hosts, will overthrow the glorious ones with might; and the high ones of stature will be humbled, and the haughty will be brought down.
34And he will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon with its glory will fall.
13 Isaiah 11:1-9
1And there will come out a shoot, out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch will grow out of his roots;
2and he will be at peace, and the Spirit of Yahvah will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the reverence of Yahvah;
3and will shine forth in the reverence of Yahvah; and he will not judge after what his eyes see, nor reprimand after what his ears hear;
4but with justice he will judge the poor, and reprimand with uprightness for the meek of the land; and he will strike the land with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
5Righteousness will be the belt of his loins, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.
6The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the ox will feed together; and a little child will lead them.
7And the cow and the bear will feed together; and their young ones will grow up together; and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8And the suckling child will play with the serpent, and the weaned child will put his hand into the hole of the snake.
9They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the land will be full of the knowledge of Yahvah as the waters cover the sea.
13 Isaiah 11:10
10And on that day there will be a root of Jesse, which will stand as an ensign to the peoples; for him the Gentiles will seek; and his rest will be glorious.
11 Second Kings 19:30-31
30And the remnant that is left of the house of Judah will increase, they will again take root downward and bear fruit upward.
31For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant, and those who escape out of the mount of Zion; the zeal of Yahvah of hosts will do this.
