4For before the child will know how to cry, My father and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be taken away before the king of Assyria.
8 First Samuel 1:19-20
19And they rose up early in the morning and worshiped before Yahvah, and returned and came to their house at Ramah; and Hilkanah knew Hannah his wife; and Yahvah remembered her.
20And it came to pass, in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel saying, Because I have asked him of Yahvah.
13 Isaiah 8:5-8
5Yahvah spoke to me again saying,
6Since this people have refused the waters of Shiloah, that flow softly, and rejoice in Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
7now look, Master brings up against them the waters of the Euphrates, many and strong, even the king of Assyria and all his glory; and he will come up over all their brooks, and walk over all their fortified walls;
8and he will pass through Judah and will sweep on and go over; he will reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings will fill the breadth of your land, Immanuel.
8 First Samuel 8:6-9
6But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said to him, Give us a king to judge us like all the nations. And Samuel prayed before Yahvah.
7And Yahvah said to Samuel, Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
8According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt even to this day, as they have forsaken me and served other gods, so they also do to you.
9Now listen to their voice; but testify solemnly to them, and show them the law of the king who will reign over them.
13 Isaiah 8:9-10
9Tremble, people, and you will be broken in pieces; and give ear, all you of far countries; gird yourselves, and you will be defeated.
10Take counsel together, and it will come to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand; for God is with us.
8 First Samuel 17:4-10
4And there went out a mighty man from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath of Gath, whose height was 6 cubits and 1 span.

13 Isaiah 8:11-13
11For Yahvah spoke thus to me, as he held me and led me aside, that I should not walk in the way of this people saying,
12Do not say, A conspiracy, as this people has said conspiracy. You will not worship their idols, nor be afraid of them.
13Sanctify Yahvah of hosts himself; he is your God and he is your helper.

32And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
13 Isaiah 8:14-15
14And he will be for a sanctuary; and for a stone of offense and for a rock of stumbling to both the houses of Israel, for a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15And many of them will stumble by them; they will fall and be broken and be snared and be taken.
