13 Isaiah 64:6-65:0
6For we have all become like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is like filthy rags; we all fall off like leaves; and our iniquities, like the whirlwind, have taken us away.
7There is no one who calls on your name, that remembers to take hold of you; for you have turned away your face from us, and have delivered us into the power of our sins.
8But now, Yahvah, you are our father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we are all the work of your hand.
9Do not be very angry, Yahvah, nor remember our sins forever; look, see, we are all your people.
10Your holy cities have become a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
11Our holy and beautiful house, where our fathers praised you, is consumed with fire; and all our pleasant possessions are laid waste.
12Because of these things you have restrained yourself, Yahvah, and held your peace, and afflicted us very severely.
