25 Zephaniah

Heap

13 Isaiah 25:1-3
25 1Yahvah, you are my god; I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things, and given faithful counsel from far away, amen.
2For you have reduced a city to a heap, the fortified city to a ruin; the house of the strangers and the city are never to be built again.
3Therefore many peoples will praise you, the city of the mighty nations will worship you.

25 Zephaniah 1:2-3
2I will utterly remove all things from off the face of the land says Yahvah.
3I will remove man and animal; I will remove the birds of the air and the fish of the sea; I will bring a stumbling block against the wicked; and I will destroy man from the face of the land says Yahvah.

Refuge

13 Isaiah 25:4-5
4For you have been a strength to the poor, a helper to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the blast of the mighty ones is as a storm against the wall.
5You will blot out the pride of aliens as the shadow at noonday, and as the heat is blotted out by the shade of a cloud; thus the branch of the mighty ones will be humbled.

25 Zephaniah 2:1-3
1Gather yourselves, bind yourselves together, people without discipline;
2before you become like the chaff which is driven away, before the fierce anger of Yahvah comes on you, before the day of Yahvah's anger reaches you.
3Seek Yahvah, all you meek of the land, execute justice; seek righteousness and meekness; perhaps you may find refuge in the day of Yahvah's anger.

Mountain

13 Isaiah 25:6-8
6And on this mountain Yahvah of hosts will make for all peoples a lavish feast, a feast of old and rich wines, from the things that belong to our heavenly savior and the mighty one.
7And he will destroy on this mountain the prestige of the ruler who ruled over all the peoples, because of the slaughter which was made among all the peoples.
8He will swallow up death in victory forever; and Yahvah, master of hosts, will wipe away the tears from off all faces; and the disgrace of his people he will take away from off all the land; for Yahvah has spoken it.

25 Zephaniah 3:11-13
11In that day, you will not be ashamed of all your actions in which you have transgressed against me; for then, I will remove from the middle of you the might of your pride, and you will not be haughty any longer because of my holy mountain.
12I will also leave in the middle of you an afflicted and humble people, and they will trust in the name of Yahvah.
13The remnant of Israel will not do iniquity, nor speak lies; nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they will feed and lie down, and no one will harm them.

Rejoice

13 Isaiah 25:9
9And it will be said on that day, Look, this is Yahvah our god; we have waited for him, and he will save us; this is Yahvah our god, we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

25 Zephaniah 3:14
14Sing, daughter of Zion; sound a trumpet, Israel; be glad and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem.

Remove

13 Isaiah 25:10-26:0
10For on this mountain the hand of Yahvah will rest, and Moab will be trampled down under him, even as straw is trampled down with the threshing sled.
11And he will spread forth his hands in the middle of them, as a swimmer spreads forth his hands to swim; and he will bring down their pride together with the spoils of their bands.
12And the fortress of treason of your rebellious men and your strong walls he will tear down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

25 Zephaniah 3:15
15Yahvah has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemies; the king of Israel, even Yahvah, is in the middle of you; you will not see evil any longer.
